Terms and Conditions for HeatherVale Cleaners

Welcome to HeatherVale Cleaners. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including professional dry cleaning, garment alteration and repair, stain removal, eco-friendly fabric cleaning, leather and suede care, and wedding dress preservation. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Agreement

HeatherVale Cleaners ("we", "us", or "our") agrees to provide dry cleaning and textile care services as requested by the customer. Our services are performed with professional care and attention to detail, utilising industry-standard practices and appropriate cleaning agents.

While we strive for the highest quality results, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains or the restoration of garments to their original condition, especially for items with pre-existing damage, delicate fabrics, or difficult stains.

Prices for our services are displayed at our premises or provided upon request. Payment is due upon collection of your cleaned items, unless otherwise agreed.

We reserve the right to amend our pricing without prior notice, but any changes will not affect orders already placed.

4. Collection and Unclaimed Items

Customers will be provided with an estimated collection time. While we endeavour to meet these timings, they are estimates and not guarantees.

Items must be collected within three (3) months of the date they were dropped off for service. After three months, unclaimed items may be donated to charity or disposed of responsibly without further notice.

Proof of ownership (e.g., a collection ticket or valid identification) may be required for collection.

5. Complaints and Disputes

In the unlikely event of a complaint regarding our services, please notify us within 48 hours of collection. We will investigate the matter promptly and endeavour to resolve any issues fairly.

Any compensation for damaged or lost items will be limited to fair market value, taking into account the age, condition, and depreciation of the item, and not its replacement value, up to a maximum amount determined by our internal policy.

All claims must be accompanied by the original receipt for the service.

6. Limitation of Liability

HeatherVale Cleaners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; (c) any content obtained from the services; and (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will indicate that changes have been made by updating the date at the top of these Terms or by providing notice within our premises. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
